Sometimes...all you have to do is REMEMBER! Sometimes we forget,
Sometimes we lose sight,
Sometimes we end up in a place
that is by design the outcome
of what someone else knew was
a limitation.

I have been saying "can't" for
so long that that I forgot what
"can" felt like.

These words will only matter
if you are sick-n-tired of your
life. That thing you do every
24 hours because "YOU DON'T HAVE
A CHOICE!"

  Fear and your path... Life is about "CHOICE!"

You "ALWAYS" have a choice!

The pressure to make the choice you really want to make will vary. There will be times that it requires everything you are to make the choice "YOU WANT!" Still, other times it's "NO BIG DEAL!"

I'm not saying it is easy, I'm simply saying you "ALWAYS" have a choice...;-)

Choosing to live your life, even when there might be others threatening you, takes courage and faith.

Amazingly, all while coaching my son's 8U football team, we have managed to run into a bit of drama.

Questions about my coaching, and me as a person are being raised by a rogue group of parents. Their son destined to play "PRO!"

How you know that at 8 years old I'm not clear.

Still, their apparent anger and threats during the game have left my wife with a great deal of concern.

So, I am faced with "a couple parents blowing off steam" and my wife "who's fear has her convinced that my life is in jeophardy."

I have told my wife that I am not going to go looking for trouble. If they wish to over throw the current coaching team they will have to come to me. I am here for the boys and I want them to learn to love the game and to have some fun in the process.

It's tough, because my wife really is concerned. I on the other hand am not convinced that there was anything more than "BLOWING OF STEAM!"

I am simply not willing to hide and to live a life that is a reaction to someone elses fear.

What to do, that is the question?

I know my choice, I just would like to find a path that my wife could be at ease with.

Amazing, all of this for being a coach of an 8U football team that is made up of, mostly, first year players and me a first year coach.

Hint, our first game 51 to 0, we were the 0...;-)

Every game has shown tremendous improvement in our team of 12 players. A team that two Saturdays ago almost held of a team of 20+ players all while playing with only nine players.

You tell me, is this an amazing group of boys or what. THEY ARE AWESOME!

Concerned, maybe a twinge, afraid no!

My boys deserve better and fear will not give them or myself better.

Choice, it is our birth right, it is our obligation.

You can follow your fear and choose a road without risk, and very little possibility, or you can choose faith (IN YOURSELF and LIFE) and step boldly ahead. Knowing that "YOU ARE ENOUGH!"

You will never be given more than you can handle! Learning how to handle it, is where the "CHALLENGE" lives...;-)
